Elements Cafe

This small café was all about the budget. With only $40,000 and the need to combine two historic storefronts into one, the challenge was significant. By building the space out with our design-build team and combining efforts with the café’s owner to achieve a unique space through methods such as painting and stapling book covers onto the bar, our firm was able to deliver. The Café, as a result, has become the true living room of Main Street, Biddeford.

Quality of space, sensible circulation and straightforward use of inexpensive materials were employed to make the project successful. The bar is nearly square where the customers sit so it has three corners for customers to gather around and its shape makes it very easy for the bartenders and baristas to serve clientele.

As a small budget project, this café has delivered huge dividends for the Main Street community and it’s owner.
