Island Modern
Project Name
Island Modern
This lean, modern 1100sf dwelling reflects an design approach that creates a sculpted form that is lived in, all be it on a strict budget.
The site is in the woods on an island with a southerly exposure on its long axis. The dwelling was anchored on the high point of the land and then flies toward a small pond.
The clients are a young couple who live here year around and work remote from the home. The interior was designed to be minimal, and has been kept uncluttered in use, with clean and simple detailing and surfaces.
